HANS GEDDA
Hans Gedda is one of Sweden\'s most famous portrait photographer and a true artist. He has in last forty years portrayed some of the biggest names, for example King Carl XVI Gustav, Mando Diao, Marit Bergman, Andy Warhol, Povel Ramel, Max von Sydow, Evert Taube, Ulf Lundell and Hans Alfredsson. Hans Gedda possesses a rare talent for achieving a close proximity to his models and makes people to drop their guard infront of his camera. Creating life is a feature of his photographic expression regardless of whether he makes still lifes, portraits or pure advertising assignments. He has over the years received many awards, one of them beeing for his image of Nelson Mandela that was appointed PHOTOGRAPH OF THE YEAR by World Press Photo in 1991.
